SLUH INTRAMURALS

WATER BALLOON TOSS

GENERAL INFORMATION:

1. Contests will be held on the SLUH Upper Field during Activity Periods and the day's

contests will begin approximately ten minutes into the Period.

2. ACADEMIC OR SLUH CLUB/SPORTS TEAM CONFLICTS HAVE PRIORITY OVER

INTRAMURALS!!!

3. Students should listen to Social/Intramural Rep's./announcements and check the I.M. bulletin board to

the east of the Cafeteria Doors for game dates/times.

TEAMS:

1. Teams will be broken down by homerooms, with up to three pairs of participants eligible to compete

for each Homeroom.

2. Each homeroom will select the individuals (up to six) who will take part on its behalf.

CONTEST STRUCTURE:

Day 1: Round One

10 Teams Per Grade Level (+5 Cup Points Each For Participating)

Top Three Pairs Advance to the Final Round (+2 Cup Points Each For a Victory)

Day 2: Final Round

Top 3 Pairs from Round One For Each Grade Level

Top Pair for Each Grade Level Advances to Final Round vs. Faculty (+5 Cup Points for Winning Tourney)

Day 3: ALL-STARS Round

Top Pair from Each Grade Level vs. Faculty All-Stars

(+5 Cup Points for Any Team that Outscores the Faculty All-Star Team)

GAME RULES:

1. Each Pair begins the event standing toe-to-toe with one partner holding a water balloon.

2. After each toss and catch of the water balloon is made, each partner must take one stride backward

before making the next toss.

3. The winning pairs are those who successfully toss a water balloon from the farthest distance apart

without breaking the balloon.

4. ALL WATER BALLOON TOSSES MUST BE MADE UNDERHAND. Anyone caught

throwing a water balloon overhand or intentionally throwing a balloon at a person or object (cars, school etc.) other than their partner will be subject to demerits and/or JUGs
at Mr. Barton's discretion.
