RULES OF THE GAME

 

Pitching and Defense

 

1.      The defensive team may set in any order the team wishes. There is no set rule for placing defending players, except that they must be behind the pitcher until after the ball is kicked.

 

2.      The offensive team will supply the pitcher. There will be one pitch unless it is fouled off, then the kicker will receive another pitch. If fouled again, the kicker will be out.

 

3.      Each team is required to have a catcher.

 

 

Kicking & Running

 

1.      Kicking Order: A team must kick all members of their team. A team must keep the same kicking order in game's entirety. Kicking order may not change mid-game. 
            If new players arrive, they must be added after the last kicker on the list.  No one may kick twice until everyone has kicked.  Everyone who wishes to play will be allowed to play.

 

2.      The kicker may not run past home plate before kicking the ball.

 

3.      Bunting is illegal.

 

4.      The offensive team will supply the pitcher - we want the ball in play.

 

5.      Baserunners will be allowed 1 base on an overthrow.

 

 

A Player is Out When:

 

1.      A player will be ruled out if he kicks two fouls or accumulates two strikes or three balls in an 'at-bat'.  The strike zone is within a foot of homeplate in either direction.

 

2.      Gets hit by the ball from the shoulders down before reaching the base.

 

3.      A pop fly is caught.

 

4.      The Runner is forced out.

 

5.      The base runner is off the base before the ball is put into play by the kicker.

 

6.      There will be no infield fly rule.

 

7.      A runner who leaves the base before the pitch reaches home plate or is kicked, is out and the ball is dead. Leading off and stealing bases is not allowed.

 

8.      They bunt the ball.
