SLUH INTRAMURALS

MENTAL MELTDOWN


GENERAL INFORMATION
:

1.  Games will be played in the SLUH "Gymnasium" during Activity Periods and the day's games

will begin approximately  ten minutes into the Period.

2.  ACADEMIC OR SLUH CLUB/SPORTS TEAM CONFLICTS HAVE PRIORITY OVER

INTRAMURALS!!!

3.  Students should listen to Social/Intramural Rep's. and check the  I.M. bulletin board to

the east of the Cafeteria Doors for game dates/times.  Announcements will not be made!


TEAMS
:

1.  Teams will be broken down by I.M. Teams and homeroom teachers are encouraged to participate.

2.  Anyone who wishes to participate will be allowed to play and is encouraged to do so.

 

CONTEST STRUCTURE:

Day 1:  Round One

All 10 I.M. Teams  (+5 Cup Points Each For Participating)

Top 5 Teams Advance to Round Two (+2 Cup Points Each For a Victory)

 

Day 2:  Round Two

Top 5 Teams from Round One

Top 2 Teams Advance to Final Round (+2 Cup Points Each For the Victory)

 

Day 3:  Final Round

Top 2 Teams from Round Two 

Winning Team Advances to All-Star Round (+5 Cup Points for Winning The Tournament)

 

Day 4:  All-Star Round

Top Team vs. Faculty All-Stars

(+5 Cup Points for Outscoring the Faculty All-Star Team)
GAME RULES:


1.  Teams will be given clues and asked to correctly answer questions in the categories below. Each question will be read twice and teammates may
              work together to think of and record the
correct answers.  Any team found to be assisting another team will lose points and/or be disqualified from the contest.
2.  Players may wish to use calculators on Mathematics Questions but NO textbooks should be brought into the Gymnasium during a contest.

3.  Teams will earn points for correctly answering each question.  Answers will be recorded on a supplied

Answer Sheet and the Answer Sheets should be turned in to the judges after each round.

4.  Each Day's game will be divided in the following manner:

5.  Points will be totaled by an impartial judge after each round  is completed and game results will be

determined after calculating each team's total points.
