SLUH INTRAMURALS

MOVIE TRIVIA


GENERAL INFORMATION
:

1.  Games will be played in the SLUH "Gymnasium" during Activity Periods and the day's games

will begin approximately  ten minutes into the Period.

2.  ACADEMIC OR SLUH CLUB/SPORTS TEAM CONFLICTS HAVE PRIORITY OVER

INTRAMURALS!!!

3.  Students should listen to Social/Intramural Rep's. and check the  I.M. bulletin board to

the east of the Cafeteria Doors for game dates/times.  Announcements will not be made!


TEAMS
:

1.  Teams will be broken down by homerooms and homeroom teachers are encouraged to participate.

2.  Anyone who wishes to participate will be allowed to play and is encouraged to do so.

 

 

SINGLE-ELIMINATION TOURNAMENT BRACKET:

1.  Each homeroom will be randomly assigned to a spot in their class' tournament bracket.  Depending on

the number of teams, some teams may receive a 1st Rd. "bye" and 1 "Cup Point" accordingly.

2.  Teams will advance to the next round of the tournament and earn 2 "Cup Points" with each victory.  The

winning homeroom for each class will earn 5 "Cup Points" for winning their tournament and will

play against the Faculty All-Stars .

 

 

GAME RULES:

1.  Teams will be given clues and asked to correctly answer questions in the following categories:

Movie Titles       (Clue given about the movie, you name the title)

Actors/Actresses  (Clue given about the stars of a certain movie or movies, you name the actor)

Characters          (Clue given about a movie's character, you name the character)

Famous Quotes   (Movie Quote is given, you name the movie the quote is from)

2.  Teams will earn points for correctly answering each question.  Answers will be recorded on a supplied

Answer Sheet and the Answer Sheets should be turned in to the judges after each round.

3.  Each Day's game will be divided in the following manner:

4.  Points will be totaled by an impartial judge after each  round  is completed and the team earning the

highest number of total points will win their individual "head-to-head" matchup.

5.  Each question will be read twice and teams may work together to think of and record the correct

answers.

6.  Any team found to be assisting another team will lose points and/or be disqualified from the contest.
