contact their coaches for clearance to participate in intramurals.)

Cafeteria Doors for the date/time of their next game.
5.  Players must be dressed in gym-appropriate clothing (t-shirt, shorts, & athletic shoes - NO METAL CLEATS ALLOWED!).

TEAMS:

1.  Teams will be broken down by homerooms, with a minimum of four players required to play.
2.  Senior Advisors may ONLY play for their Senior Homeroom.
3.  EVERY homeroom member who wishes to participate will be allowed to play!  There are NO TRYOUTS or "Cutting" of players!

SINGLE-ELIMINATION TOURNAMENT BRACKET:

1.  Each homeroom will be randomly assigned to a spot in their class' tournament bracket.  Depending on the number of teams, some teams may receive a 1st Rd. "bye."
2.  For each game, the "TOP" team will be designated as the HOME team, while the "BOTTOM" team will be designated as the VISITOR and will wear the mesh jerseys if they do not bring their own uniforms.
3.  Teams will advance to the next round of the tournament and earn 2 "Cup Points" with each victory.  The winning homeroom for each class will play against the Faculty All-Stars.

GAME RULES:

1.  Most games will be officiated by at least one faculty member or Intramural Committee member.  Officials will keep the official score of each game in
addition to throwing tip balls and calling fouls.  All officials should be treated with respect.  Any player or spectator who acts in a disrespectful
manner toward an official may be subject to ejection from a game/tournament, or demerits/JUGS.
2.  Each game will begin with the "visitor team" starting with the ball at mid-field.  After a goal, the team which was scored upon will begin with the ball at mid-field.
3.  Normal soccer rules will apply with the exception that there will only be 5 players plus a goalie allowed on the pitch at any given time and there will be no offsides.
4.  Teams may only substitute a player when another player leaves the field (similar to hockey), so that NO MORE THAN 6 PLAYERS ARE ON THE
FIELD AT THE SAME TIME.  Whenever possible, substitutions should be made during a "dead ball situation."  Teams  must rotate players if more
        than 6
homeroom members wish to play!
5.  No excessive physical play (slide tackling, pushing etc.) will be allowed (as determined by Mr. Barton)
6.  A Two minute warning will be given prior to the end of each game and the end of the game will be announced by the official working the game.
7.  If teams are tied at the end of the time limit, each team will take sudden death "penalty shots" from 10 feet away until a winner is determined.
